The Saqqara pyramid complex, designed and built by Joseph, was the first pyramid ever built. The pyramid structure is the only wonder of the ancient world which honored Yahweh, in that it pointed to His Throne and drew attention to the constellations.
The three Great Pyramids were part of recreating the constellation, Orion. This is the constellation which foretells of the Second Coming. The ancients believed that Yahweh's Throne is through Orion's belt. And the placement of the three Great Pyramids in Cairo Egypt, which was planned by Imhotep (and built later), was specifically designed to draw attention to the Throne of Yah.
Hubble discovered that the universe was spherical and ordered... He was an avowed evolutionist, and resisted telling anyone about this because it pointed to a Creator. It was discovered, through observing the Red Shift (explained in today's session) that earth is near the mathematical center of the Universe. Creation scientists also note that there is evidence to show that Yahweh's Throne is indeed through Orion's Belt, just as the ancients (taught by Imhotep) believed. The oldest art on earth is all about the heavens. One amazing example of this is the cave paintings in the Cave of Lascaux, located in France. Please note that the following National Geographic video is presented from a deeply evolutionary bias. However, it does serve to show that even evolutionary scientists are now coming to understand that the ancient people knew the constellations, tracked the Tekufah's (specifically the Equinoxes) and kept record of the new moons - all of which would have been significant to those who honored Yahweh's holy days.
Since the cave paintings could not have survived the catastrophic Flood of Noah's Day, we can know that the Lascaux cave paintings must have been done shortly after the Flood, making them truly the oldest art on earth (which evolutionists also agree about, but they wrongly date the cave paintings to 19,000-26,000 years ago). Perhaps most exciting of all is that the more detail one finds about Lascaux's paintings, the more one can see a strong likelihood that they were made by a person who was a Feast keeper.

- November 3 - this week is our needed break, allowing us time to clean, rest, and put things back in order following the camp meeting/retreat (no Biblical Astronomy Class during this time).
Biblical Astronomy Class will resume, following the above listed break, on Wednesday, November 10.
