The heavenly bodies are the minute hand on Yahweh's great Heavenly Clock. The holy Feasts of Yahweh, listed in Leviticus chapter 23, are the hour hand. And when a sky-event occurs on one of Yahweh's holy Feast days, the sky Clock is chiming the hour!

On April 14 and 15 (the last two days of the Feast of Unleavened Bread this year) there was an amazing planetary alignment in the constellations of Qesheth (now call Sagittarius) and Gedi (now known as Capricorn). This alignment also involved the Moon, as shown in the image below:

The spiritual, prophetic significance of this sky event is huge. But to understand it, we will need to start by identifying the heavenly "players" in this alignment as well as the placement of this sky-event within the tapestry of the constellations.
Let's begin with the heavenly "players".
The Moon was known as Lavanah in ancient Hebrew. Lavanah means "white" or "clothed in white". In Bible times, God's people understood the Moon to be a symbol of the "woman", ultimately the Bride of Messiah. The connection between the Moon and the woman is plainly seen in Jacob's interpretation of Joseph's vision. Joseph was shown the sun, moon, and 11 stars bowing down to him. Immediately upon hearing this dream, Joseph's father, Jacob, knew who these heavenly bodies of the dream represented. The story is found in Genesis 37. Jacob rightly identified the sun as himself (the father of the family), since the Sun ultimately represents the Heavenly Father. He identified the Moon as Joseph's mother (as the Moon is ultimately a symbol of God's people, His final Bride). And the 11 stars (11 constellations) which bowed to Joseph were his 11 brothers. In short, as a player in this sky-event, the Moon indicates that this is a message to the Bride - the End-time people of God.
Now, having looked at the players in this sky-event, let's turn our attention to the placement of it, in terms of where it took place amongst the tapestry of the constellations.

As is plainly shown in the above image, the alignment took place at the rear end of the constellation Qesheth (Sagittarius) and ran into Gedi (Capricorn). This placement indicates that the meaning of this planetary alignment and message to the Moon (God's people) involves the messages of these two constellations.
Qesheth, as we have already seen in this blog, represents the white horse and Rider of Revelation 6, going forth to bring the last Call of the Gospel to this sin-darkened planet. Clearly, the placement of this sky-event in this heavenly location indicates that the Gospel of the Kingdom is already going forth, which plainly indicates that we are living in the Last Days.
Gedi, the goat fish, is the constellation of the final Atonement. For more information and evidence of this, please visit my past blog on Gedi. But, in short, the reference to Gedi in this sky-event is a clear indication that Yahweh's final Day of Atonement is coming. Upon the final Day of Atonement, the opportunity for Salvation will be forever gone. For similarly to the day on which the door of Noah's Ark was closed, allowing no one else to enter and be saved, the final Day of Atonement is the final close of Probation for planet Earth.
So, now that we have examined the players and constellation backdrop of this sky-event, what prophetic message is to be found in the alignment of the planets and the Moon during the Feast of Unleavened Bread this past week?
This sky event is a special warning and message to the saved people of Yahweh (represented in the Moon). The final Day of Atonement is soon coming for the world (Gedi), but Judgment begins "at the House of God". Therefore the so-called people of Yahweh have less time.
The opportunity for Salvation - represented in Qesheth, the white Horse and Rider of Revelation 6, is coming to an end (represented by the placement of this sky-event in the tail end of the constellation). War and bloodshed is soon coming (represented in Ma'adim -Mars), but it is being held off by the mercy of God for a time -until the ending of this Sabbath (Sabbatai, Saturn)... And the Sabbatical year will end on September 28, 2020, which is the Day of Atonement this coming fall.
It is a sobering and merciful message from our Creator and Judge... Get off the proverbial "fence". Come out of the world and rid yourself of all spiritual double-mindedness. Be serious about belonging to Yahweh. The final 7 years is starting soon - in fact, it all begins on the Day of Atonement this year...

You know, we were about to plant a garden this year... our first year in our new place... I did not realize this was a sabbatical year! I guess we will let the land rest again this year. So, I have more questions about this.. if you buy fresh food at grocery stores, you are buying their harvests this year, so kind of defeats the purpose of not having your own, correct? What do you do in this case? I tried to do some research on this, but just didn't find much.
Israel did have small kitchen gardens during this time for eating... the planting prohibition refers to farming the land... The Sabbatical is a land rest, from major farming... People had more time to focus on God as they weren't doing their normal farming work. But they still ate in the Sabbatical, as you noted. So the kitchen garden was still done, just for eating... not for sale... not for canning and preserving... no extra labor. Hope this helps ;-)
