Brief Pause - Thanks for your Patience!

Taking Temporary Retreat and Extended Break...

Dear blog readers,
It is with regret that I am announcing that I need to temporarily put this blog on pause...  

During this pause, all of my past blog postings will all still be readable, of course. But I will not be putting up new blog postings... for about a month...

First, I have to apologize to you all...  Starting this past June, you have probably noted that my postings on this blog were becoming increasingly erratic... I really did try to keep up. But blogging is normally something that I do between normal life, full-time ministry, teaching part-time online classes, and other day-to-day work. In other words, I usually fit blogging in, in the "cracks" of my life. But there haven't been very many "cracks" of late.

Starting this past June, my parents' decided that the last winter was too much for them to face another winter in their 13 acre home. They felt the need to put their home up for sale and downsize tremendously in order to move into a retirement center apartment (independent living). My husband and I immediately went to work fixing up the gardens, rebuilding and staining the deck and doing other work to prepare the house to go up for sale. During this repair time I found that this plus my regular ministry work and home-work was more than a full-time job...  Hence, the spotty blogging...

I expected to have more time to blog when the house went up for sale. But - praise Yahweh as this really is a blessing - the house sold for top dollar - cash - in the first week it was up for sale! Yahweh is so good! And the property was worth every penny! So, we immediately entered a whirlwind of activity...  Holding a 4 day estate sale (Thursday, Friday, Sunday and Monday) over Labor Day Weekend. 

After the sale, whatever didn't sell needed to be dealt with...  Then we moved my folks into their new apartment - in which they are very happy and comfortable - again, we praise Yahweh!...

No sooner had we gotten them situated and settled than we were needing to gear up for our annual Fall (Feast of Tabernacles) Retreat. This Retreat begins this next week, on Monday, October 14 and will conclude on October 21. We are eagerly anticipating all the blessings in this time of spiritually feasting in Yahweh's Word and in fellowship with dear believers. 

But, I just can't keep up with blogging, with all that's going on...  And it's not going to slow down for me even after the Retreat...  Why? Well, something very big and wonderful is happening in our ministry immediately following the retreat...  But, I cannot tell you all about it just yet. I will explain in more detail in a couple of weeks - and I'm sure you'll fully understand why I needed to stop blogging briefly...  More later...
