Navah's Decans - Tseon Gadol (Ursa Major) and Tseon Qatan (Ursa Minor)

The first two decans of Navah (the sheepfold which is wrongly now believed to be a crab) are Tseon Qatan (Tseon is sheep in Hebrew, a word which is related to "Zion", so the connection with God's saved people is clear in the constellation name) and Tseon Gadol.

Tseon Qatan (Ursa Minor) is easy to recognize because it contains the famous Little Dipper asterism. Tseon Qatan is also notable for marking the location of the north celestial pole, as it is home to Polaris, the North Star, which is located at the end of the dipper’s handle. The constellation Tseon Gadol (Ursa Major) contains the group of stars commonly called the Big Dipper. 

The two "bears", Ursa Major and Ursa Minor are among the most well-known and easily recognized of all the constellations. It is 
almost shocking to learn, after growing up with knowing the sky-bears so well, that they aren’t really bears at all—but they are sheep instead! In the ancient depictions of these two constellations, such as the zodiacs found in Egypt, Caldea, Persia and India there are no bears at all.

The cause of the confusion is likely a 
translation error. the Hebrew word for a “sheepfold” is Dohver, while bear is Dohv. Also, the Arabic word for “cattle” is Dubheh, which is similar to the Greek word for “bear”. But however it happened, these constellations have been misrepresented in portraying them as bears. 

Ancient planespheres aren’t the only proof. Bears do not have long tails as the animals in these constellations do, but sheep do have long tails (although their tails are now usually docked, when they are small lambs). 

Additionally, the primary constellation always relates to its decans. But a “crab” doesn’t relate to “bears” at all. However, when we restore the ancient depictions of these constellations, rightly portraying Naveh as a sheep or cattle fold, it certainly does relate to sheep!

These two sheep represent the saved people of God. We know this because sheep, in 
Scripture, symbolize God’s people (John 10:16-27). There are two sheep—a larger one (Tseon Gadol)  and a smaller (Tseon Qatan)—to symbolize the two groups who are saved at the Second Coming. The two groups are: those who are resurrected from the dead and those who are translated without seeing death, having been alive to see Christ’s Return. 

“For Elohim Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the Voice of the archangel, and with the Trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet Yahweh in the air: and so shall we ever be with Yahweh.”  1 Thess. 4:16-17 (KJV)

Tseon Gadol (wrongly known as Ursa 
Major)—the larger of the two sheep—
represents the resurrected saints, from Adam down to our time. Because there will be more saved people from this group, the larger of the two sheep represents it. 

“As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out My sheep (Tseon) and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.” Ezekiel 34:12  

“I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep (Tseon) of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude of men.” Micah 2:12 

Tseon Qatan (Ursa Minor) the smaller of the two sheep represents the translated saints, or those who are alive on the earth at the time of Christ’s Return. The Promise in these two constellations is this:

“Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give You the Kingdom.” Luke 12:32 (KJV)
