Biblical Astronomy - Session 29 - May 4, 2022

 SKY EVENTS FOR MAY, 2022

In today's session, we started our study of the sky events for the month of May, 2022. We focused on the two new moons, and what it means to be a new moon in Biblical terms. We also looked into the Eta Aquarids Meteor Shower, which peaks this week. We also saw that the sun visually passes through the Re'eym (Taurus) during this time of the year - the time of Counting the Omer.

Last Biblical Astronomy Class for this academic year will be May 24, 2022.

This is the last month for us to meet - for this academic year. Our last Biblical Astronomy Session will be Wednesday, May 24, 2022. At that point, we plan to take a summer break, and reconvene our Biblical Astronomy Club sessions starting on August 24, 2022. August 24 will be the first day of Biblical Astronomy 2.
