Mozanaim's Decans - Adom (Crux)

The second decan of Mozanaim is Adom, now called Crux or "the Cross". This constellation is in the shape of the Hebrew letter tav (the last letter of the Hebrew alphabet), which appears much like a cross in paleo Hebraic. The tav is the letter of God’s Covenant, “finishing” Redemption.  Significantly, when Yahshua died (on a wooden stake, in the shape of a tav), He said, “It is finished.”

To show that the execution stake of the tav was our Saviour's destiny, Asham Bazah (Centaurus) straddles the Cross. In this way, we find meaning from the placement of the constellations with the heavenly "tapestry". The story of the Plan of Redemption is woven into the heavens with constellation figures inter-relating with one another in ways which add to their Heavenly Message and meaning.

To more fully understand the spiritual significance of this constellation, we need to look at more of the meaning in the Hebrew letter tav.

The current shape of the Hebrew letter tav looks a lot like the posts of a door. This reminds of the doorposts upon which the blood of the Passover lambs was applied at the time of the Exodus from Egypt.

 

Messiah, of course, is our Passover Lamb, Who was sacrificed for us on the shape of the ancient tav. What a perfect portrait of Him we see in this special and last letter of the Hebrew alphabet.

Tav is the 22nd letter of the Hebrew alphabet. 22 is Yahweh’s number of “LIGHT, SIGHT”, and “REVELATION”. With Tav, the 22^nd letter of Yahweh’s divine Alphabet, we SEE the Love of Yahweh REVEALED through His only Son, as He hung upon the Cross.

It is no coincidence that in Psalm chapter 22, we find the prophecy of the Crucifixion of our Messiah.

Psalm 22:1-18 "My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken Me? ...But Thou art holy, O Thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them. They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded. But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people. All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying, He trusted on Yahweh that He would deliver Him: let Him deliver Him, seeing He delighted in Him... Many bulls have compassed Me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round. They gaped upon Me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion. I am poured out like water, and all My bones are out of joint: My heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of My bowels. My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and Thou hast brought me into the dust of death. For dogs have compassed Me: the assembly of the wicked have enclosed Me: they pierced My hands and My feet. I may tell all My bones: they look and stare upon me. They part My garments among them, and cast lots upon My vesture." 

In Hebrew, the meanings of the letters which make up the Hebrew word are added together to get the full meaning of the Hebrew word. The letter tav is a part of the word Torah, which connects Calvary with the Law of God.

Torah, is spelled with the Hebrew letters tav, vav, reysh, and hey. Adding their meaning we get a picture of the Messiah's Sacrifice, atoning for our Lawlessness (sin) (John 19:5) “Behold (hey), the Man (reysh), the nail (vav), the Cross (tav)”

Tav was anciently drawn as a Cross, showing the prophetic SIGN that Yahshua would come and make a NEW COVENANT with us (Jeremiah 31:31-34).

Pilate once asked the ultimate question: "What is Truth?" (John 18:38). The Hebrew word for Truth is Emet, which also includes the letter tav.

Using the meanings of each Hebrew letter, by which Truth (Emet) is spelled, we find the following meaning, and see the ultimate Truth: "The Creator" (aleph) "revealed on" (mem) "the Cross" (tav).

John 8:32 - "Ye shall know the TRUTH, and the TRUTH shall make you FREE."
