There can be no question that the ninth star family bears a message that is both wonderful and sobering at the same time. It is the star-family which foretells the Second Coming of Messiah. And the second decan of Re'eym is Esh Halak, the River of Fire. Picking it up from there, my focus today will be the third decan of Re'eym, pictured in the lower right corner of the image below.
Nothing can stand before the devouring Fire of the Almighty on that day.
Isaiah 30:27-33 “…His Breath as an overflowing stream (of fire)… He hath made it deep and large, the pile thereof is fire and much wood; the Breath of Yahweh, like a stream of brimstone doth kindle it.”Scripture corroborates the heavenly picture of a consuming fire, at Christ’s Second Coming. The Bible tells us that the wicked will be destroyed by the “brightness” of His Coming, which is also called God’s “Glory” (2 Thessalonians 2:8). But in Hebrews 12:29, we find that the Glory of God isn’t only a dazzling brightness, it is also a “consuming Fire”.
The prophet Malachi also foretold that the Fire of God’s Glory would destroy the wicked in that Day.
Malachi 4:1-3 “For, behold, the Day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the Day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch... And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the Day that I shall do this, saith Yahweh of hosts.”
When the Messiah Returns, people will either be consumed because they have rejected Him, or they will be held safe from all harm, in His protecting Care. The Promise of God’s protecting Care is given in the third decan of Re’eym. The
constellation of Ra’ah, now called Auriga, depicts the Good Shepherd (Christ), holding a small sheep in His arms. One Hand encircles the little ewe while the other Hand holds a fish net (showing the Heavenly work of “fishing” to save souls).
The sheep in the arms of the Shepherd represents every saved person. In fact, on that Day, it is God’s Will that you will be the sheep in His arms—kept safe from the Seven Last Plagues of Re’eym and from the Fire of Judgment. During this period of Judgment, which takes place at the Second Coming, the prophet Isaiah wrote that God would protect His people in His “Chambers” (the “Secret Place of the Most High”—Ps. 91:8). “Only with her eyes” does the ewe “behold and see the reward of the wicked”. Psalm 37:34-38 “Trust Yahweh and follow Him. He will give you the land, and you will see the wicked destroyed... Think of the bright future waiting for all the families of honest and innocent and peace-loving people. But not a trace will be left of the wicked...”
