Today, I will share a video with you, put out by National Geographic. The National Geographic Society is a well known supporter of evolution. As a result, whenever they consider evidence, it is always considered from within the framework of their evolutionary beliefs.
In the following video, you will see evidence from the Cave of Lascaux that the ancient people were students of astronomy. The reason for this escapes the video creators. They struggle to reconcile their understanding of ancient "primitive" cavemen possessing the mental ability to calculate time or accurately render the constellations. But for us who believe in the Scriptural record, we know that by standards of mental ability, we - not they - are the inferior "cavemen".
So, as you enjoy this video, please make the necessary mental edits regarding the age of the cave (they claim its drawings are over 10,000 years old...) This is according to an evolutionary timeline of human history. But according to the Scriptural records, the earth is younger than evolutionists claim. However, the fact that these cave paintings were produced early in human history is beyond question. Timing things according to the Scriptural record means that these drawings likely date back to just after the Flood - for it is not likely that the cave paintings could have survived the global Flood (about 4000 years ago).
Additionally, these cave paintings show that the ancient people were tracking and calculating the moon cycles and equinoxes. Why is this significant? Consider the importance of the Tekufot in determining the Biblical year! I believe the amazing paintings in this ancient cave are a powerful evidence that the ancient people were worshipers of Yahweh - the patriarchs were tracking the heavenly lights in order to align themselves with the Creator's Calendar. And I further believe that it was a Yahweh-worshiper who painted the cave of Lascaux. Check it out and see what you think:

ReplyDeleteInteresting!I I believe that your presentations have well proven that the earth is now ending its seven thousand years. I also understand that the mathematical abilities of early man far exceeded those of modern man. It is quite possible that being much more closely aligned to nature, and the movements of the clestial bodies, that early man calculated lunar cycles in His worship of Yahweh.
