Gad is the Tribe Associated with Taleh (the Worthy Lamb that Was Slain)

My featured star-family for the month of August is Taleh (Aries, the worthy Lamb that was slain), which is Star-family #8 of the 12 primary constellations and their decans. As I mentioned in my January 11, 2019 blog, "What is the Significance of the 12 Primary Constellations?", each of the 12 primary constellations is associated with one of the 12 tribes of Israel.

The tribe which is associated with the constellation Taleh (now called Aries) is Gad.

We will deepen our understanding of the Heavenly Message in this star-family by looking at the prophecies of Gad, given in the Scripture by both Jacob and Moses.

When Jacob was near the end of his life, he called his sons before him and spoke a prophetic word over them, which is found in Genesis chapter 49. His death-bed prophecies for his sons were not just prophetic words to the 12 tribes while his twelve sons were still alive, the prophecies were to have an ultimate fulfillment in the Last Days. We know this, because Jacob said so himself, in verse 1 of that chapter:

Genesis 49:1  "And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the Last Days."

So, as we find a message for our personal sanctification and spiritual growth in the 12 star-families of the Mazzaroth, that message is deepened by echoing it with the tribal prophecies of Jacob, which are meant for Israel in the Last Days - Scripturally called the "Seed of Abraham" (for Abraham begat Isaac and Isaac begat Jacob and Jacob begat 12 sons who formed the 12 tribes of Israel). 

In Jacob's prophecy from Genesis 49, his prophetic word for Gad is found in Genesis 49:18-19:

Genesis 49:18-19 "I have waited for Thy Salvation, O Yahweh. Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last." 

To understand this prophecy, let's begin by looking at the meaning of Gad's name. "Gad" means "a troop cometh" and "breaker", as we find in Strong's Concordance # H1410 and in its root #H1464. It is from the Hebrew root word, gud, which means to attack and overcrowd.

Moses blessing on Gad is found in Deuteronomy

Deuteronomy 33:20-22  “And of Gad he said, Blessed be he that enlargeth Gad; he dwelleth as a lion, and teareth the arm with the crown of the head. And he provided the first part for himself, because there, in a portion of the lawgiver, was he seated; and he came with the heads of the people, he executed the justice of Yahweh, and His Judgments with Israel..."

The prophecy of Gad is especially significant in its pairing with Taleh. In the worthy Lamb that was slain, we see Yahshua - glorified. The decans of this star family show the save people of God, having passed through great tribulation (portrayed in the two fish and their decans) and now the tribulation is past. Now - it Taleh - the people of Yahweh share in His glory. 

The experience of God's people in the time when the Synagogue of Satan will worship before the feet of the formerly persecuted saints is summed up in the prophecy of Gad:

Genesis 49:18-19 "I have waited for Thy Salvation, O Yahweh. Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last."
