Sky Event #4 - Part 2

Rare Blood Moon - Supermoon Tonight!

A total lunar eclipse, which the Bible refers to as the moon turning to blood, will take place tonight! Please see yesterday's blog (part 1 of Sky Event #4) for more viewing information. As I explained yesterday, this will be an event both rare and significant. It will be combination event, with a total lunar eclipse (blood moon) occurring on a supermoon (when the moon is closest to earth and visually appears about 15% larger and 30% brighter than usual).

Tonight's blood moon is also a rare sky-event, making it extra special.The combination of these two events (a supermoon with a total lunar eclipse) does not happen very often. In fact, since 1900 a supermoon lunar eclipse has only happened 5 times! The last time this occurred was 1982, and if you miss tonight's event, your next opportunity won’t come until 2033. 

As I also explained in yesterday's blog this lunar eclipse (blood moon) is a sign warning of the beginning of the End Times. 

Joel 2:28-32  "And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out My Spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible Day of Yahweh come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the Name of Yahweh shall be delivered: for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as Yahweh hath said, and in the remnant whom Yahweh shall call." 

Acts 2:19-21  "And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of Yahweh come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the Name of Yahweh shall be saved."

But there is more to the Creator's meaning and message in this sky event than just a "heads-up" warning that time is coming to an end. The placement of the supermoon/lunar eclipse event lends meaning to the message. 

The lunar eclipse will occur within the constellation now called "Cancer" (anciently known as Naveh). For exact placement, please note the image/clip below:

The eleventh primary constellation is Naveh, which is now called Cancer. Today, this constellation is portrayed as a crab. But this is an incorrect representation of this sky-picture, according to the ancient records. 

Naveh, is a sheepfold, or a cattle enclosure. As E.W. Bullinger noted in his book, The Witness of the Stars, the ancient names for this constellation indicate a sheep or cattle fold:

The Denderah name (for Naveh) is Klaria, or “the cattle-folds”... The Arabic name is Al Sartan, which means “who holds”...The Syriac, Sartano, means the same. The Greek name is Karkinos, which means “holding or encircling”, as does the Latin, Cancer... In the word Khan, we have the “traveller’s rest”... while Ker or Cer is the Arabic for “encircling”. (Witness of the Stars, p 148)

The fact that Naveh was anciently known to be a sheep or cattle fold is also verified in the star names, as you can see from the following drawing:

Naveh is the dimmest of the primary constellations. Its most famous Messier object is M44, also known as the Beehive Cluster, or by its ancient name of Praesepe. M44 contains about 50 stars and its original name (Praesepe) means “innumerable seed”. This is a reference to the saved people of Yahweh, who are known as the "seed" of Abraham. Yahweh promised Abraham that his "seed" would be as uncountable as the number of the stars in the sky and the number of the grains of sand on the seashore (Genesis 26:4; Genesis 22:17). Praesepe’s area of 1.5 square degrees is 3x larger than the full moon.

The original name of this constellation is found in the Bible, in the following verses (Note: the English word, which is translated from the original Hebrew word, Naveh, is underlined in the verses below):

Isaiah 65:10 "And Sharon shall be a fold (Naveh) of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for My people that have sought Me.”  

Job 5:24 “And thou shalt know that thy tabernacle shall be in peace; and thou shalt visit thy habitation (Naveh), and shalt not sin.” 

Ezekiel 34:14-15 “I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold (Naveh) be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel. I will feed My flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith Yahweh GOD.” 

The constellation of Naveh is connected with the tribe of Issachar (see pages 187-188 of my book God's Amazing Star Secret). In Jacob’s prophetic blessing, Issachar was likened to a donkey at rest in a pleasant and beautiful fold.

Genesis 49:14-15 “Issachar is a strong ass couching down... And he saw that rest was good, and the land that it was pleasant...” 

The sheepfold is a symbol of safety and rest. This is the message of this sky-picture. God’s people (the sheep) are portrayed here as dwelling in safety, having entered their Promised Rest.

In the star event of the blood moon / supermoon the position of the moon will visually be in Navah as shown in the image below. The blood moon, which heralds the Last Days will be upon the wall of Naveh's sheepfold, as a powerful announcement that the Last Days bring good news. We are nearer to the Heavenly Promise of Eternal Rest now than ever before.  

Now is the time to be sure of one's Salvation. Are you among the "seed" of Abraham? If so, safe Pastures, Provision, and Eternal Rest are coming in the near future! But in this time of easily misplaced priorities, Yahweh is granting us a celestial reminder to get our priorities straight. As David said, "One thing have I desired of Yahweh. That will I seek after. That I may dwell in the House of Yahweh (His House is symbolized in the stars as Naveh) all the days of my life (ultimately this is Eternity)..." Psalm 27:4.

We may summarize this sky-event with this Scriptural reminder: "Lift up your head, your Redemption draweth nigh," Luke 21:28. Have you been "keeping your nose to the grindstone" with many worries and an earth-centered focus? Lift up your head! Have you been discouraged or down cast, maybe even fearful of the prophetic events in the near future? Look higher and beyond it! 

What does Yahweh want us to remember? His Rest is coming! And it is His Plan that those Heavenly "Pastures" of Rest and Joy are intended for YOU.
