Was Revelation 12 a Prophecy in the Sky?

The Woman Clothed with the Sun, the Moon Under Her Feet and 12 Stars upon her Head...

Since there are no significant sky-events today, we may use this opportunity to deepen our understanding about the heavens and how they are used as prophetic signs.

To illustrate this, I'd like to mention a sky-event which took place back in 2017 and is being called "the Revelation 12 Sign". It occurred on September 23, 2017. Since January is the month in which I am featuring the star-family of Bethulah (which is the first constellation family in the Mazzaroth), I thought it might be a good time to point out that a sky-event in this constellation is likely what John the Revelator was writing about in Revelation chapter 12.

Revelation 12:1-2  "And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:  And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered." 

Wikipedia explains the teaching about this sky event as follows (parentheses are added by me):

The Apocalypse of John describes "a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head." The proponents of the Revelation 12 Sign say that the woman represents the constellation Virgo (Bethulah) and the crown of twelve stars represents the nine stars of the constellation Leo (anciently called Aryeh) in conjunction with Mercury, Mars, and Venus.

The moon appear(ed) to be under the "feet" of the constellation Virgo (Bethulah) in September 2017 and the sun (passed) through the constellation, which... is what is meant by the woman being "clothed with the sun".  

The second verse of the twelfth chapter of John's Apocalypse goes on to say that the woman "was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth." Some people suggest this will be fulfilled because the planet Jupiter (Tsedek)... (traversed) the constellation after having undergone apparent retrograde motion. After entering what they perceive to be Virgo's "womb" around November 20, 2016. Jupiter exit(ed) the lower part of the "womb" 42 weeks later, which is the approximate length of a human gestation...

The complete astronomical alignment occurred on September 23, 2017, over Jerusalem.

Because Yahshua is the "Seed" of the woman (Genesis 3:15), we know that He is the "Child" to which the woman is about to give birth. Yahshua is also represented in the constellation of Aryeh (Leo) which is the lion of the tribe of Judah. Because it was known the Messianic Lion of Judah would come through the "woman" (shown in the sky as Bethulah, meaning the "virgin"), some suggest that the ancients referred to Aryeh (Leo) as the woman's  "crown" (for He is both her source of Salvation, and "crowning achievement" - to the glory of Yahweh, of course).

The constellation of Aryeh normally has 9 main stars. But, during the heavenly alignment which occurred on September 23, 2017, Aryeh appeared to have 12 stars, counting the planets which had visually moved into its constellation.

Significantly, this alignment and apparent starry fulfillment of Revelation 12:1-3 is actually a rare heavenly event. And notably, a very similar event took place on September 11, of 3 BC (which would have been the Feast of Trumpets that year) heralding the Messiah's actual birth! Since this event and a similar alignment heralded Yahshua's birth and first advent (which came soon after the heavenly event in 3 BC), it is very possible that folks are correct in stating that the September 23, 2017 heavenly event was to herald the soon-coming of Messiah once again.
