Significance of the Lyrids Meteor Shower Occurring in Unleavened Bread
I find it amazing how all of Yahweh's Messages to mankind tie together, almost as if forming a beautiful tapestry of Truth. His Plan Redemption is given in Scripture, in the constellations and star-names, in the tribal ensigns of the 12 tribes of Israel, in the spiritual meaning of the gemstones which represent each of the twelve tribes, in the furniture and ceremonies of the Sanctuary... and the list goes on from there.
Considering all we have discussed about the spiritual meaning of Qesheth (Sagittarius) and its decans, including its annual Lyrids Meteor Shower, it is notable to see the connection with this fourth star-family and the Feast of Unleavened Bread. This connection is obvious, in that the Lyrids Meteor shower is occurring during the Feast of Unleavened Bread, but there is also a connection in the meaning of this constellation family and in the meaning of Unleavened Bread.
Lasting a little over a week, this first holy Appointed Time of the year began with Passover and continues with the Feast of Unleavened Bread, including the day of First Fruits.
God designed these three Feasts (Passover, Unleavened Bread, and First Fruits - all of which take place in connection with one another) to teach us a vital lesson about how we can be made
free from sin. This ties in with the messages of the prior two star-families, also, namely: Mozanaim (Libra) and Aqrab (Scorpio).
The experience of walking with God in perfect harmony with His Will is the first step in becoming the First Fruits unto God. In this sky, the first reference to Christ as the First Fruits, and to His people, who are the second fulfillment of First Fruits, is found in the first constellation: Bethulah. Remember, Bethulah holds a sheaf of First Fruits in her hand.
Called the First Fruits, in the End of Time this special group is also known as the 144,000. Having fully surrendered to the Will of
God, they follow the Lamb’s every example, and stand “without fault” as spiritual “virgins” (a symbol of purity in doctrine and commitment to God) before the throne of Yahweh.
In Scripture, a song of Praise is associated with the First Fruits - the 144,000. In fact, they will sing this song in Heaven - being the only beings with the right to do so, by the Grace of Messiah. This song of Praise, known as the Song of Moses and the Lamb is represented in the sky as Kinnor (Lyra) the harp (or lyre) of praise.
observer experiences forgiveness and cleansing from sin. Having been made clean, one may effectively pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit promised in Pentecost.
Then, in the Day of Trumpets, the spiritually cleansed and Spirit-empowered Christian is ready to join the ranks of God’s
messengers giving the Last Call to the world.
This work is represented as beginning with the white horse and Rider of Revelation 6:1. And it is repeated in this star-family in Qesheth.
