The 25 Brightest Stars in the Sky - Part 2

Canopus - the Possession of Him Who Cometh

Each of the 25 brightest stars in the sky bears a deeply significant spiritual message. They serve as highlights or anchor points outlining the key principles of the Plan of Redemption. As we saw in the July 10, 2019 blog, Sirius (Sar, in Hebrew) is the first and brightest of these stars. Sar means "Prince". And since Christ is where Redemption begins (and ends... and of course He is in every step in between), it makes perfect sense that our brightest and first star points to Him.

The second brightest star in the night sky is Canopus, originally known as Yarash means "to possess, occupy by driving out the prior occupants" (which is what God helped the Children of Israel do in their literal possession of Canaan - a process which foreshadows how we will possess ultimate Canaan in the End).

In short, this massive and brilliant star bears the Heavenly Message that those who keep the Commandments and Statutes of Yahweh will ultimately possess the land. This is especially clear in the Scripture passage which contains this star name (Yarash):
Deuteronomy 6:1  "Now these are the Commandments, the Statutes, and the Judgments, which Yahweh your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it (Yarash)."
Canopus (Yarash) is located in the ship constellation (where shown in the drawing below), anciently known as Tsiyon (meaning "Zion"), but later called Argo. This large ship constellation has most recently been divided into three lesser constellations, which completely obliterate the heavenly shape, message and meaning of this constellation.

After the Marriage Supper of the Lamb and the saints enjoy their Jubilee in Heaven, the New Jerusalem (Zion) is foretold to descend to Earth bringing the saints in preparation for them to occupy the Earth made new. This part of the Plan of Redemption is foretold in the eleventh star-family, the primary constellation of which is Naveh (now called Cancer, wrongly portrayed as a crab). Naveh, as will be explained in more detail in a few months (or in my book, God's Amazing Star Secret) was originally known to be a sheep fold, representing the pleasant and safe Heavenly reward of the faithful.

The third decan of Naveh (Star-family #11) is a
vessel which carries the people of God. Some have referred to different denominations as “the ship” which is “going through”. But actually, this “ship” is bigger and older. It’s Hebrew constellation name is Tsiyon (which we call Zion in English). But why is the ship of Tsiyon
portrayed here in the constellation story? Why is it positioned after the 2nd Coming (foretold in the constellation of Re’eym, now called Taurus), and after the Marriage Supper of the Lamb (foretold in the constellation of Ta’am, now called Gemini)?

According to Revelation, after the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, and after the time-period is finished in Heaven, God will bring the saints back to earth in an unusual “star-ship”. The City of the New Jerusalem will be the “ship” which carries the saved people of God back to Earth for the final Judgment events foretold in Aryeh (the constellation which is now called Leo). Thus, the City is the ship in this star-picture.
Revelation 21:2-3 “And I John saw the holy City, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of Heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of Heaven saying, Behold, the Tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them...”
Isaiah 51:11 “Therefore the redeemed of Yahweh shall return, and come with singing unto Zion (Tsiyon); and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.”
I will go more in-depth into this eleventh star-family in November, the month in which this star-family will be featured. Until then, we have gone sufficiently into the constellation of Tsiyon (Argo) to show the significance of the second brightest star in our sky: Yarash (now called Canopus).

Here are are few fun facts about Canopus:

1) Canopus is located in the Southern Hemisphere. Viewers in Canada and in the northern U.S. never see it as it is too far south in the sky dome. However - draw an imaginary line through the U.S. just south of San Francisco, California and extend the line through Richmond, Virginia and then position yourself south of this line - you can view Canopus if you are in the southern part of the U.S.

2) Canopus is about 313 light-years away from us. Because of this distance, it appears to be the second brightest star. But it actually burns brighter than Sirius.

3) It blazes with a brilliance of 17,000 of our Suns. Canopus is known as the second brightest star in the night sky (second to Sirius) but in the Southern Hemisphere, where it is best viewed, Canopus is the brightest star. If Canopus were placed in the location of Sirius (which is only 8.3 light years from Earth) it would truly outshine every star in the sky.

4) Canopus is also very large, being classed as a "bright giant" star. Above this class, larger stars still are in the "super giant" class, while the largest stars of all are classed as "hyper giants". How big is Canopus? It would take 65 of our Suns stretched across it to span the diameter of Canopus. By the way, for a bit of size perspective, check this out:
