After the sobering message of this seventh star-family that we've seen so far, we find good news in the third decan of Dagim. What is the message of this decan? It is the reminder that God promises to bring the persecution to an end. He will deliver His people from the hands of their
oppressors. This is the message of the third decan of Dagim—Tsemach (Cepheus).
The name Tsemach is Hebrew for “the Branch”, which is a title of Christ Himself. Here we find the King of kings coming swiftly to deliver His suffering Bride.
Tenderly He watches over His people,
providing Grace and Strength as His Bride endures the “Refiner’s Fire” (Zechariah 13:9). But He does not allow the suffering to drag on endlessly. In His Role as the Righteous Branch, Christ comes as the mighty Deliverer. He will put an end to the persecution and bring lasting peace to His people, as He has promised.
Isaiah 19:20 “...For they shall cry unto Yahweh because of the oppressors... and He shall deliver them.”
