In Revelation chapters two and three, Israel (God’s Church) is found to be in seven groupings—or seven churches. God has “aught” against five of the seven churches, foretelling that their “candlestick” (there is one candlestick to represent each of the seven churches) will be removed (which is a judgment meaning that this church group will be lost). Only two of the seven churches are spiritually clean. These two clean churches are called Philadelphia and Smyrna. Both of these churches are persecuted by the same entity: the Synagogue of Satan.
The Synagogue of Satan from Revelation 2 and 3 is Cetus (the sea-monster, which is a decan in the next star-family, shown in the lower right hand side of the image below).
Since Aboth, the Band, represents persecution of the two groups, and since the band is bound to Cetus, which is the Synagogue of Satan, it is likely that the fish of Dagim represent Philadelphia and Smyrna.
Smyrna are the saints who are persecuted to the point of martyrdom (Revelation 2:8-11). This is why Smyrna’s fish appears to by lying down (in death) in the heavens.
The other fish, which is Philadelphia, are the saints who are also afflicted by the Synagogue of Satan, just like their sister church (Smyrna), but Philadelphia are not killed. In the Last Days, when the persecution is forever over, Revelation 3:7-9 tells us that the Synagogue of Satan will worship before the feet of those in Philadelphia. They are ultimately translated and are represented by the fish that is rising upwards in the heavens without seeing death.
“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Yahshua shall suffer persecution.”Both the sky-picture and Scriptures show that suffering is an expected right-of-passage which all who love and follow God will face at one time or another, to one degree or another. In fact, God’s people are told to expect suffering in our journey in this world (1 Peter 4:12). But even so, God does not want His people to be afraid.
Revelation 2:10 “Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a Crown of Life.”Is this star-Message accurate? Do Christians today experience persecution? Are there martyrs? Yes. According to the Christian advocacy group, one in 12 Christians today experiences high, very high or extreme persecution for their faith. Nearly 215 million Christians face high persecution, with 100 million of those living in Asia.
But there is a message of hope and help, even amidst the somber overtones of this “bad-news” star-family. The Saviour’s Message from John 16:33 is echoed in these constellations:
“In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”For those who are currently suffering for Christ around the world, this star-family reminds that God has promised to bring “good” out of every circumstance in the lives of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
1 Peter 4:13 “But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when His Glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.”
Revelation 2:10 “Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a Crown of Life.”
