The 25 Brightest Stars in the Sky - part 6

Capella - "Ewe Lamb"

The sixth brightest star is Capella, which means "Ewe Lamb" or "female goat".

Capella: Hebrew name: Kibsah (Strong's Concordance number H3535), meaning "Ewe Lamb" (The constellation of which Capella is a part is a Prophecy showing that Yahshua will be holding His sheep - Capella - in His Arms, protecting them during the plagues.)

Where this star name is found in Scripture: 

Genesis 21:28  "And Abraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock by themselves." 

Capella is the brightest star in the Shepherd/Ewe Lamb constellation (lower right in the above image) anciently known as Ra'ah, now called Ariga. In short summary, Capella is the eye of the sheep which is looking back watching Rey'em (now called Taurus) the mighty bull of God's judgment coming like an unstoppable freight train. Not only is the sheep held safely in the Shepherd's Arms during Rey'em's Judgment period (the seven last plagues), but also the eye of the sheep watching the plagues, yet safe from them is a visual reminder of the promise in Psalm 91:

"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High (Arms of the Almighty) shall abide under the shadow (protection) of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God, in Him I will trust. Surely He shall deliver from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence (plagues). He shall cover you with His feathers and under His Wings you shall take refuge. His Truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night nor of the arrow that flies by day. Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness. Nor of destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand shall fall at your side. And ten thousand at your right hand. But it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes (Capella's eye) shall you look at see the reward of the wicked (7 last plagues). Because you have made Yahweh who is my refuge even the Most High your habitation. No evil shall befall you. Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling. For He shall give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways. they shall bear you up in their hands lest you dash your foot against a stone..."

Here are are few fun facts about Capella:

1) Capella is the brightest star in the constellation of Auriga and the sixth brightest star in the night sky. It is the third-brightest in the northern celestial hemisphere after Arcturus and Vega.

2) Capella means "little goat" in Latin, which is quite close to its original Hebrew name, Kibsah referring to a young Ewe.

3) Capella is relatively close to us at only 42.9 light-years from our Sun.

4) Capella looks like a single star to the naked eye, but actually it is a quadruple star system which is made up of Capella Aa, Capella Ab, Capella H, and Capella L. 

5) The primary pair of stars in Capella are Capella Aa and Ab, which are two bright yellow giant stars (shown in the top image above), both of which are 2.5 times more massive than the Sun. The secondary pair of stars in Capella (Capella H and L) are faint, small, and relatively cool red dwarf stars.
