Deep Space Objects in Deli

The Sabbath Day Nebula

As I explained in my January 18, 2019 blog titled, "The Original Seven Parts of our Solar System", the ancient Hebrew name for Saturn was Sabbatai, meaning "Sabbath Day." Notably, one of the deep space objects in Deli is called the Saturn Nebula (NGC 7009). But since the original name for Saturn was Sabbatai, is not the name of this nebula Sabbatai Nebula, meaning "the Sabbath Day Nebula"? 

In modern times, it is thought that William Parsons, the 3rd Earl of Rosse, first observed this beautiful nebula in the 19th century. The Saturn Nebula (Sabbatai Nebula) is a typical planetary nebula. Most investigators believe that the green tint of the nebula is caused by the energetic UV light which is emitted by its central star (Nu Aquarii).

Considering the name of this nebula, it makes its placement in the Deli star family especially interesting...  Does the Sabbath Day have anything to do with the final Gospel Message - represented as the Heavenly Water being poured out by this exalted Waterman? Yes! Consider the Everlasting Gospel reference to Sabbath, found in Revelation:

Revelation 14:6-7  "And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters."

To see the Sabbath connection, consider the elements of the Everlasting Gospel found in Revelation 14:6-7, which are:

1) Fear God - the term "fear God" is an action word. It is something we are supposed to do. But what are we being invited to do here? Are we supposed to be terrified? Actually the term "fear God" means that we are to love Him and obey Him by keeping His Commandments and Statutes.

Deuteronomy 10:12-13  "And now, Israel, what doth Yahweh thy God require of thee, but to fear Yahweh thy God, to walk in all His Ways, and to love Him, and to serve Yahweh thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the Commandments of Yahweh, and His Statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?

The Commandments and Statutes of Yahweh are found in His Torah - His Law. Thus, fearing God involves keeping His Law - by His Grace.

2) Give Glory to Him - the second element of the Everlasting Gospel, which Revelation foretells will be carried to the world at the End of Time is a call to glorify God. Matthew 5:16 tells us that we glorify God by our "good works". Since the works which Heaven considers to be "good" are obedient to Yahweh and His Law, we find yet another clear connection with the Gospel and a call to obedience of Yahweh's Law.

3) the Hour of His Judgment is Come - the third element of the Everlasting Gospel, which Revelation foretells will be carried to the world at the End of Time is a warning that Heavenly Judgment is soon coming upon mankind. This is yet another reference to the Law of God. For the standard of measurement by which we will be Judged is the Law of Yahweh (Romans 2:12-13).

4) Worship Him as Creator - the way to honor and worship Yahweh as our Creator is to remember and keep the Sabbath - which is the Day memorializing His Creation:

Exodus 20:8-11  "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yahweh thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days Yahweh made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yahweh blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it."

Clearly then, the Sabbatai Nebula is well placed being within the constellation family which foretells the final Gospel Message going forth after the outpouring of the Holy Spirit!
