During the month of June, in the sky directly overhead, you'll be able to see Bo (Bootes) the Herdsman, the first decan of Bethulah.
To sight Bo, look for the Big Dipper setting in the northwest and follow the arc of its handle to find Arcturas, Bo's brightest star.
East of Bo is Bau (Hercules), which is a decan in the third star family. Bau is shaped a bit like an hourglass.
Then, between Bo and Bau you can find the obvious "C" shape of the northern crown. If you look northwest of these constellations, you will see Chemdah (now called Coma).
Each night, these constellations move slightly west. Visually they appear to move about the width of one fist to the west of their previous night's position. Extend your fist at arm's length at the same time and place each night to track the movement.
